THERMOSTATS

Thermion offers a broad range of thermostats to control temperature and provide overheating protection for a broad range of applications.
Thermostats are manufacturer in compliance with Israel Standard IS 808 and Approval No. 906.

Principle of Operation
Thermostat: with temperature rise, the differential expansion of the bimetal sensitive elements causes the opening of the snap-action switch. The temperature is kept constant within the differential range.

Cut-out: In case of abnormal temperature rise a snap bimetallic disc snaps and cut out both the phases simultaneously. The disk activating temperature can not be regulated by the customer and is hand reset.

Applications: Thermostats are mainly used for temperature control of electrical water boilers, both industrial and domestic types, electrochemical baths and over devices of similar installations.

General Features
Thermion thermostats consist of a gage thermostat uniform and regulable, with a bipolar safety device to be reset by hand. A responsive bimetal disc opens and closes electrical contacts at factory calibrated temperatures.
